Kanye West Fires Back At Ray J Over 'i Hit It First' During Perf

Next, band the Roots started jamming alongside a children's chorus of six voices. "Brandy's little sister lame, man, he know it now," West rapped during the performance. "When a real brother hold you down you supposed to drown." West's words may have been a response to Ray J's latest song, "I Hit It First," which also features Bobby Brackins. In the song, Ray J, 32, sings about a popular woman that everyone knows he was intimate with first. "I had her head gong north and her ass going south/ But now baby chose to go west," Ray J sings in the song. In the music video, the word "west" is accompanied by a shot of a road sign for Chicago, West's hometown. The video also features a Kardashian look-a-like, whom Ray J records on a camcorder in a fashion similar to the way the two's leaked sex tape was shot.
Source: http://www.latinpost.com/articles/2071/20130910/kanye-west-jimmy-fallon-performance-rapper-insults-ray-j-surprise.htm

Kanye West storms 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' disses Ray J

It's like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music." KOL member Nathan Followill fired back with a homophobic dig at openly gay Murphy, tweeting: "Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go. See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra. Zip your lip and focus on educating 7yr olds how to say f**k." Realizing how his comments could be seen, Followill later tweeted: "I'm sorry 4 anyone that misconstrued my comments as homophobic or misogynistic. I'm so not that kind of person.
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/10/kanye-west-ray-j-hit-it-first_n_3900572.html

Ray J and Teairra Mari Rumored to Star in Love & Hip Hop LA — Report

And why should he not be? Ray J also did a similar thing earlier this year and dissed both Kanye and Kim in his rap song called "Hit it First." The lyrics of the song were provocative and talked about Kim and Kanye both. "I had her head going north and her ass going south / But now baby chose to go West' and 'Give her no dough to come, but I gave her 10 to leave / I bet I hit it first, unless you took that girl virginity," the lyrics said clearly stating that Kim chose West instead of him though he helped her rise to fame. Ray J made his message to Kimye quite clear by further shooting the music video with a Kardashian look-alike. Though Ray J called the song a "concept" but Kanye does not seem to buy that explanation and was waiting to launch the counter attack.
Source: http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/505200/20130911/kanye-west-disses-kim-kardashian-s-sex.htm

After the success of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, VH1 decided to branch out to the West Coast, and it seems like theyre pulling out all the stops for this new cast. Sister2Sister Magazine reports that Ray J and Teairra Mari are rumored to be the two primary cast members for Love & Hip Hop LA. Ray J is no stranger to the world of reality television, having starred in For the Love of Ray J and Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business. Teairra Mari is a singer/songwriter with a background in acting, modeling, and dancing who appeared in the 2010 film Lottery Ticket with rappers Ice Cube and Bow Wow. The spin-off show is reportedly casting right now, but we cant wait to see the final product.
Source: http://www.wetpaint.com/real-housewives-of-atlanta/articles/2013-09-10-ray-j-teairra-mari-casting

Kanye West Disses Kim Kardashian's Sex Tape Partner Ray J as He Raps on "Bound 2" [PHOTOS and VIDEO]

While the two may be engaging in sidebar beef, theyre both still hustling, but in very different ways. Ray J is rumored to be starring in an upcoming Love & Hip Hop: LA spin-off. Kanyes Yeezus tour is scheduled to begin on October 19 in Seattle. Tickets go on sale, this Friday, September 13. If history is any indication, fans can expect a few more surprises from Mr.
Source: http://s2smagazine.com/79794/kanye-west-strikes-back-at-brandys-little-sister-ray-j/

Kanye West strikes back at Brandy’s ‘little sister’ Ray J

Referencing Ray J's famous sister, Brandy , West kicked off with the line: Brandys little sister lame man he know it now/When a real brother hold you down you 'sposed to drown. The diss was hard-earned, though. Ray J's constant jabs at West and Kardashian of late have been seen as juvenile and opportunist. The gig itself was solid, due in large part to the Roots. West burns with a backing band, a truth that hopefully he'll take to heart while planning his forthcoming tour. For his last major solo tour, the rapper stood alone on stage for the duration, a lone man walking and rhyming. It was impressive but unnecessary. Being surrounded by fellow musicians banging out the groove, though, added so much power to West's presence on Fallon.
Source: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/posts/la-et-ms-kanye-west-jimmy-fallon-ray-j-20130910,0,6514108.story
