Flacco On End Of 1st Half: 'stupidest Play I've Ever Made In Foo

It had been thought that Cleveland, home to the NBAs Cavaliers, was in the same position. But the citys organizers found a way to offer a June date, a feat some thought might bank on the hapless Cavaliers failing to reach the playoffs. When James signed with his home-state team, a deep playoff push in Cleveland became a real possibility. So Dave Brown, American Airlines Centers general manager, wrote an email titled, No way they can commit to June now. Lets just watch and wait, responded Phillip Jones, the visitors bureaus chief executive. This could get interesting! 3. AJ Green's TD gives Bengals 23-16 win over Ravens - Greenville, NC | News | Weather | Sports - WNCT.com

It was Flacco's first home loss in September, and he takes full responsibility for the result. "We just played about as bad as you can, in terms of simple fundamental things -- throwing, catching, running routes, staying up, just running the ball, couple mental busts, said Flacco, who ended the afternoon 35 of 62 for 345 yards with a touchdown and an interception. But it was Flacco's ill-timed decision to end the first half that has him most upset. Trailing 15-0, with eight seconds left in the second quarter and in field-goal range, Flacco inexplicably did this: That was probably the stupidest play Ive ever made in football, Flacco said, afterward, according to CSNBaltimore.com's Clifton Brown. The Ravens aren't going to win with Flacco throwing the ball 62 times a game (or why having Chykie Brown try to cover A.J. Green by himself -- that resulted in the predictable 77-yard touchdown reception), and they're on a short week: The Steelers come to town Thursday night.
Source: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/flacco-end-1st-half-stupidest-200906741--spt.html

Baltimore placed Webb on the inactive list with a back injury, and Dalton repeatedly picked on Brown. The Bengals lost Pro Bowl linebacker Vontaze Burfict to a concussion late in the second quarter, and tight end Tyler Eifert left in the first half with a right elbow injury. Flacco was booed by many in the sellout crowd after throwing an interception to end a promising third-quarter possession. On Baltimore's next series, however, Flacco finally put together his first scoring drive of the season. Completing six of seven passes for 63 yards, he moved the Ravens 82 yards for a touchdown - a 13-yard run by Forsett. Baltimore's defense then produced its first three-and-out, and Flacco followed with a 14-play drive that produced a 38-yard field goal to make it 15-10 with 10:28 remaining.
Source: http://www.wnct.com/story/26469472/greens-td-gives-bengals-23-16-win-over-ravens

David Morrison (@DavidCMorrison) September 7, 2014 2. Not what I expected from the run game Missouri got the yards it needed in the second half, and with the way the pass was clicking in the second and parts of the third quarter, the Tigers didn't need to have a huge day on the ground.
